Acrylic oligomers are specialy manufactured functional polymers which have acrylic functional end groups at the both end of epoxy or urethane oligomers, having 2-25 repeating unit. Acrylic oligomers are used as raw materials for adhesives and functional polymers.
Epoxy(meth)acrylates are consist of various epoxy oligomers and (meth)acrylic functional groups are attached at the one or both ends of oligomers by reaction.Epoxy(meth)acrylates have excellent weather, chemical and corrosion resistance. Therefore, Epoxy(meth)acrylates are widely used for paint, electrical, adhesion, and various coating materials.
Urethane oligomers are composed of various isocyanates and polyol compounds. And urethane (meth)acrylates are manufactured by replacing the both ends of urethane oligomer to acrylic functional groups. Therefore, the performance of urethane(meth)acrylate such as toughness, flexibility and hardness is affected by the composition of urethane oligomers. Urethane (meth)acrylates are also widely used for hard coating and adhesive manufacturing.
